Key Account Manager

Position summary:

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Sales team in Vilanova i la Geltru, just outside of the lovely city of Barcelona. This is an exciting position for an individual with a technical background who is success driven and highly enthusiastic to learn and strive.

Position reports to: CRO

As a Key Account Manager you will:

  • be in charge to develop key accounts in the sector and grow the market share with OEMs
  • develop the communication with C-level and decision taking personal for mutual success
  • communicate internally the requirements and needs of the clients to increase client success and satisfaction
  • be the focal point for Key accounts and our company
  • maintain and grow the information about key accounts, using tools like CRM, ERP to ensure full transparency within the organization
  • present proposals and negotiate with key accounts
  • be involved in the company’s forecast, business plan by reflecting the requirements from the key accounts internally
  • manage the sales activities in the sector/ region in respect to the forecast and quotas
  • introduce new products to the sector/ region
  • be part of the price strategy definition
  • support the sales channels within your area
  • assist in any marketing required support
  • visit the key accounts (up to 50%)
  • identify the competition
  • be active in the market
  • perform all our duties assigned

  • Technical background is an advantage (electronics, optics, lasers)
  • Past experience for technical sales is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical discipline preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi task and work in complex environment
  • Ability to manage conflict, be creative and to always look for the most beneficial solution
  • High level of English, Spanish is an advantage
  • Other language is a plus
