Researcher in Training
Monocrom is a consolidated company with more than thirty years of experience in the laser field. We focus our activity on the design and manufacturing of low and high-power laser diode devices and advanced solid-state lasers with a unique patented technology in mounting laser diode bars for an outstanding performance.
Position summary:
Monocrom has an ongoing project on semiconductor lasers design in collaboration with the âGrupo de Semiconductoresâ (GdS-Optronlab) from the University of Valladolid, with an extensive experience in the characterization of semiconductors and nanostructures.
We are now seeking qualified individuals to join this project in a two-year position as a researcher in training at the University of Valladolid, with a potential subsequent incorporation at Monocrom in Vilanova i la GeltrĂş (Barcelona).
Position location: University of Valladolid (GdS-Optronlab)
Salary:Â Upon the type of contract: Research Scholarship or PhD Scholarship.
Position summary:Â The selected candidate will work for 2 years at the University of Valladolid while being trained in semiconductor lasers design and characterization by the GdS-Optronlab team.
